Strive to be all we can be for our patients!
Mildred Scharf-Ehrenfeld, NP and her organization 448 Griffing Avenue Nurse Practitioner PC and The Bridge Improving Access to Health Care represent a philosophy of health education for prevention and care which directly addresses your most urgent needs and preventative care. With over twenty-five years caring for people, Mildred’s success is measured by her patients’ outcomes. Her practice is based upon the notion of empowering people with education and options, to encourage people and families to take the initiative and assume control of their health.
Walk into the plum colored restored Victorian house off Main Street and you enter a warm living room like atmosphere scurrying with activity; children sitting and coloring, pregnant moms chatting in their native tongue be it Spanish, Polish, Russian, or the obscure Mixe-Zoquean language of central America, or men getting work physicals. Some days there are breast cancer specials and nutrition lectures; anything you may need in preventive and acute care, all under one roof. Many families have sought care here for generations.
